Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Load/unload shipments using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Document delivery exceptions and communicate with dispatch in real-time
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of freight documentation and logistics software
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Texas residents: Must possess valid Texas CDL endorsement
