Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for time-sensitive deliveries across Miami-Dade County
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet tight deadlines
- Handle hazardous materials and temperature-sensitive shipments with precision
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- DOT medical certification and current TWIC card (if applicable)
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and route navigation apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
