Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver products to designated locations safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload freight using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation, including mileage and timesheets.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues on the spot.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized to ensure a professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (no major traffic violations or DUIs within the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
