Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently in all traffic conditions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo securely, following proper handling procedures.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on schedule while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Verify delivery details and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere strictly to all DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with no serious violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and local routes.
- Current Medical Certificate on file.
- Reliable work history and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
