Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to deliver freight on time and in pristine condition
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight securely and verify shipment accuracy upon delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues proactively
- Document delivery status and maintain electronic logs via our fleet management system
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong knowledge of Milwaukee metro area and Wisconsin highways
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- DOT medical certification and current Hazmat endorsement preferred
