Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for long-haul deliveries across Texas
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of freight while maintaining strict compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding delivery status
- Utilize advanced GPS routing systems to optimize delivery efficiency
- Represent Swift Logistics with exceptional customer service at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and delivery regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening (required)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work overnight/weekend shifts as needed
