Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition
- Plan efficient routes across Georgia and Florida while adhering to DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles before/during trips and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong navigation skills with GPS/MapQuest proficiency
- Flexibility for overnight stays during Florida routes
- Pass background check and drug screening
