Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or B delivery trucks in a professional manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Deliver cargo to designated customer locations on time and in perfect condition.
- Manage cargo documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
