Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight on assigned routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status with dispatch and clients in real-time
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Resolve delivery issues proactively and maintain customer satisfaction
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report concerns
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with electronic logging devices
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Flexible availability including early mornings, nights, and weekends
