Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles to designated locations in the Dallas metropolitan area.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured and protected from damage.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and delivery paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients at delivery sites.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery information.
- Strong physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
