Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver freight to customers in the Louisville area and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring safety and security at all times.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain necessary signatures from recipients.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck cab and cargo area.
- Complete daily logbooks and delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays if required.
