Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) across Houston metropolitan area
- Execute timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining accurate delivery records
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and time management
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading interactions
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and mobile apps
- Strong knowledge of Houston area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
