Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles for regional deliveries across Ohio and Virginia
- Manage daily route optimization to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards
- Complete accurate documentation including delivery logs, vehicle inspections, and inventory reports
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and route challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and GPS navigation systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Must be available for flexible scheduling including early mornings and weekends
