Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently over various road conditions.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage.
- Manage daily logs (DOT/ELD) and maintain accurate, compliant records.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere strictly to all safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
