Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers safely and efficiently to deliver freight to destinations across the East Coast.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and handling of goods.
- Complete all required paperwork, including delivery receipts and logs (DVIR), accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with logbooks, DOT regulations, and cargo securement procedures.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
