Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across assigned routes.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
- Verify load manifests and ensure accurate documentation for billing and compliance.
- Maintain daily logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT/HOS regulations and safety procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts.
