Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle (CMV) to transport freight efficiently and safely.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment while maintaining cargo security.
- Complete all necessary delivery documentation and logbooks accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A issued by the state of Ohio.
- 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Card (DOT) and Hazmat endorsement if required for route.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Availability to start work immediately (Tomorrow).
