Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles over various terrains and in all weather conditions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper handling techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Keep the cargo area and vehicle interior clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (Required).
- Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one).
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Basic computer skills for logging purposes.
