Job Overview
As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently across the United States. You will receive the support you need to succeed, including dispatch support and maintenance assistance.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (tractor-trailers) in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security and damage prevention.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logbooks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Keep the truck clean and well-maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: No commercial driving experience required (must be willing to obtain CDL Class A).
- License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or eligibility to obtain one.
- Record: Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Health: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Age: Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
