Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with FMCSA guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cargo area and cab.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (with appropriate endorsements).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of San Francisco and Northern California routes.
- Must be available to work night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM or similar).
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the terminal.
