Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% safety compliance.
- Safely load, secure, and unload cargo using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Navigate efficiently between Jacksonville, FL, and New York, NY, adhering to strict delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and daily inspection reports in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes and delivery updates.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license required (Clean driving record).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and sitting for extended periods.
- Willingness to travel the Jacksonville to New York route.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
