Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently across assigned routes in NY and OH.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo is protected during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding schedule changes and delivery updates.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must meet FMCSA medical standards (pass DOT physical).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle checks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to our fleet and procedures.
