Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, legal, and timely manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and security of the cargo and equipment.
- Load and unload freight accurately using proper equipment, ensuring cargo integrity throughout the transit.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and comply with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold the company's high standards for customer service and professional conduct.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA compliance regulations.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
