Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks for long-haul and regional routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining a clean driving record.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and document all pre-trip and post-trip checks.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely and efficiently at delivery points.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- 2+ years of verifiable experience driving a commercial motor vehicle.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills for navigating traffic and road conditions.
- Good physical stamina required for long hours on the road.
