Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in strict accordance with FMCSR regulations and company safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and stay within hours-of-service limits.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, shippers, and receivers to ensure smooth operations.
- Keep the cab and trailer clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Current DOT Medical Card and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
