Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional delivery routes throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring all freight is secured and accounted for.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and electronic logs of hours of service (HOS) in strict accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure high levels of service satisfaction.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driverβs License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a professional truck driver.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be 21 years of age or older (Federal Law).
- U.S. Citizenship or valid legal work authorization; ability to pass a background check.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
