Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) in strict compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring the safety of goods during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily vehicle inspection reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, shippers, and receivers.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Navigate efficiently to meet delivery schedules and avoid unnecessary delays.
- Uphold the company’s safety culture and adhere to all company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) with a clean driving record (MVR) within the last 7 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to cross state lines and operate in multiple regions including Georgia.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor at all times.
- Availability for overnight travel and flexible scheduling.
