Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on designated routes across the region.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring the safety of the goods and the truck.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation (Electronic Logging Device - ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
- Excellent time management and navigation skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
