Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is road-ready.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and securing loads according to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery and logbook documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and schedule changes.
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience (preferred).
- Pass a DOT physical exam and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform manual tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
