Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of cargo securing and safety procedures.
