Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring the safety of the merchandise and other drivers on the road.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Represent the Pilot Logistics brand with integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or willingness to obtain one through our sponsor program).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability.
- Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to travel within the Southeast region.
