Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A) safely and efficiently on all road conditions.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Complete all required DOT logs, delivery receipts, and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
- Basic math skills for making change and reading scales.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
