Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to deliver freight on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure fastening and proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and mileage reports.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 7 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of highway geography and traffic patterns.
