Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight on assigned routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight using forklifts and other equipment as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route status and delays
- Complete required paperwork (bills of lading, delivery confirmations)
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain CDL Class A license (paid training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for load verification and paperwork
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- No prior CDL experience required – we train!
