Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to deliver products to customers on designated routes in and around Wichita, KS.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring cargo security and proper handling of goods.
- Verify delivery accuracy, obtain signatures, and maintain daily logbooks and delivery records.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the vehicle and company equipment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of GPS and delivery software is a plus.
