Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated regional routes within Kansas City metro area
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, FMCSA compliance, and company safety protocols
- Efficiently manage delivery schedules while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and problem resolution
- Utilize electronic logging systems (ELD) for hours-of-service tracking
- Represent the company professionally with clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in route navigation and electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Flexible schedule availability including early mornings and weekends as needed
