Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on designated delivery routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Interact professionally with customers and verify delivery accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, mileage, and vehicle condition.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of New Mexico.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
