Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned delivery routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight according to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving time, mileage, and vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Provide excellent customer service during all deliveries and pickups.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is road-ready.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and pass a DOT drug screen.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a background check and physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
