Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs (eDOT)
- Load/unload shipments using pallet jacks and forklift certification
- Adapt to changing delivery schedules and route adjustments
- Communicate with dispatch via ELD systems for real-time updates
- Uphold FMCSA compliance and company safety protocols
- Maintain professional customer interactions during deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- 2+ years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Tanker or Hazmat endorsements preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in varied weather conditions
- Proficient in electronic logging devices and basic navigation apps
- Pass DOT physical and background screening
- Knowledge of Texas DOT regulations and route geography
