Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate Class A Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs) on various route types, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of freight.
- Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Fleet Management: Maintain accurate logs (DVIR), mileage records, and fuel reports.
- Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service by handling freight professionally and communicating effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- CDL Required: Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience as a professional Class A driver.
- Documentation: Medical card, DOT physical card, and valid DOT number.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, logbook compliance, and basic mechanical aptitude.
- Availability: Ability to work a consistent schedule and adapt to changing delivery needs.
