Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on designated local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Provide professional customer service and resolve delivery issues on the spot.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support staff.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of Kentucky roadways and traffic laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
