As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across the region. We offer competitive compensation, weekly pay, and comprehensive health coverage.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) to deliver freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Document all delivery receipts, mileage, and times accurately using electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while interacting with customers and co-workers.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
