Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and delivery documentation (BOLs) for all shipments.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading procedures.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety procedures.
- Basic computer skills for logging and paperwork management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
- Valid Medical Card (if required by position).
