Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver freight to customer locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper techniques, ensuring cargo is secured and protected.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and delivery receipts while interacting professionally with customers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Card and DOT Physical on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and ability to navigate GPS systems.
