Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on designated delivery routes throughout the Bay Area.
- Unload cargo at customer locations while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers and handle freight with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading of freight as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A issued by the state of California.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road conditions, and safe driving practices.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime and weekends.
