Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring weight distribution is balanced.
- Plan routes and adhere to delivery schedules to meet customer deadlines.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Accurately complete electronic logging device (ELD) paperwork and delivery receipts.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and maneuver cargo in tight spaces.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of navigation systems and logistics software.
