Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to deliver freight to designated stops within a local radius.
- Maintain a clean, professional image while interacting with customers and handling cargo.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company driving policies at all times.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Accurately manage electronic logs (E-Logs) and complete all necessary delivery paperwork.
- Ensure the security of cargo during transit and report any damages immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Experience with local delivery routes is highly preferred.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
