Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently along designated routes in San Diego County
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Complete pre-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Load/unload cargo with precision using proper equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Represent the company professionally in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willingness to obtain through paid training)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends as needed
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain TWIC card if required for specific routes
