Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pickup.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record review.
- Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to complete paid training program upon hiring.
