Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently across designated Southern California routes
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery timeframes
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Document delivery information and resolve delivery exceptions promptly
- Maintain clean driving record and participate in ongoing safety training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain through our paid training program
- Minimum 21 years of age with ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and logbook maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends as needed
